His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, has announced the launch of the inaugural ‘Dubai AI Week’ to be held from 21 to 25 April 2025.
This groundbreaking event aims to position Dubai as a global hub for artificial intelligence (AI), bringing together top AI experts, thought leaders, and decision-makers for a series of conferences, exhibitions, and initiatives.
The week-long event will be held at prominent venues such as the Museum of the Future and AREA 2071 in the Emirates Towers. Key events include the ‘AI Retreat’, the ‘Dubai Assembly for Generative AI’, the ‘Global Prompt Engineering Championship’, and the ‘Machines Can See’ Summit. The ‘Dubai AI Festival’ at Madinat Jumeirah will also showcase innovative AI projects and attract thousands of business leaders, investors, and exhibitors from around the world.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan emphasized that under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai is fostering an integrated ecosystem for AI innovation. He highlighted the importance of AI in shaping future advancements and expressed the city's commitment to driving its adoption across various sectors.
Building on the success of the 2024 AI Retreat, Dubai AI Week will include a diverse array of activities, including a programme aimed at educating students about AI, in collaboration with the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA). The event is set to be a cornerstone of Dubai's strategy to lead the way in AI technology, innovation, and application.
