In a heartfelt tribute to the UAE's Founding Fathers, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Dubai Airports, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA), has introduced a special passport stamp featuring the ‘Zayed and Rashid’ logo for arriving travelers.
The initiative is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, launched by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
Coinciding with the UAE’s month-long national celebrations, beginning with UAE Flag Day on November 3 and culminating in Eid Al Etihad on December 2, the campaign honours the enduring legacy of Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid. Their vision laid the foundation for the UAE’s transformation into a global hub of innovation, prosperity, and cultural unity.
Travelers arriving in Dubai during the festive season will have their passports stamped with the commemorative logo until December 31. The campaign also includes key initiatives such as the Flag Garden and an iconic mural at Dubai International Financial Centre, highlighting the Founding Fathers’ images.
The #ZayedAndRashid campaign features over 50 collaborative events and activities involving government and private entities, celebrating the UAE’s rich heritage and achievements. Running until December 2, the initiative aims to inspire unity and pride while offering citizens and visitors a glimpse into the UAE’s historic journey.
