Dubai Airports has unveiled a new art exhibition in partnership with Mawaheb, a Dubai-based studio for People of Determination, bringing vibrant creativity to travellers passing through Dubai International’s Terminal 1.
The showcase features 12 striking canvases that highlight the talent and vision of Mawaheb’s artists. From abstract and figurative works to surrealist and pop-art styles, each piece reflects a unique perspective and personal story.
The initiative supports the UAE’s “Year of Community” and underlines Dubai Airports’ commitment to inclusion. CEO Paul Griffiths, also a Mawaheb Ambassador, said the exhibition challenges perceptions and leaves “a lasting impression on the millions of travellers” who encounter it.
Mawaheb Founder Wemmy de Maaker called the display a powerful platform for the artists, saying it “inspires a sense of possibility in everyone who sees it.”
The partnership between Dubai Airports and Mawaheb, which began in 2017, continues to celebrate accessibility and artistic expression, ensuring voices of People of Determination are seen and heard on a global stage.
