Dubai Culture has unveiled the much-anticipated Dubai Art Season 2025, a dynamic festival under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Running from 4 January to 20 April 2025, this year’s theme, “Take a Walk on the Art Side,” celebrates Dubai's status as a global hub for culture and creativity.
Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of Arts & Literature at Dubai Culture, highlighted the season’s significance, stating,
“Dubai Art Season reflects the emirate’s vibrancy and future aspirations, offering a platform for creatives to connect and innovate.”
The season kicks off with Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert (4–12 January), themed “Stories at One with Nature.” This festival will host films, workshops, performances, and a digital art exhibition, fostering a sustainable regional film industry.
The renowned Al Quoz Arts Fest follows on 25–26 January at Al Quoz Creative Zone and Alserkal Avenue, featuring over 200 cultural events, including musical performances and interactive experiences.
The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature (29 January–3 February) will unite international authors, creatives, and thinkers for panel discussions, workshops, and exclusive events like Desert Stanzas and LitFest Families.
Adding to the lineup is the Sikka Art and Design Festival (31 January–9 February) in Al Shindagha Historic Neighborhood, spotlighting Emirati talent through visual arts, workshops, and performances.
The grand finale, Art Dubai (18–20 April), will showcase contemporary, modern, and digital art across its four sections, with exhibitions and discussions led by global experts.
Complementing the season, Dubai Opera will host musical and theatrical performances, enriching the city’s cultural calendar. Dubai Art Season 2025 promises an immersive celebration of creativity, innovation, and global artistic collaboration.
