In line with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Municipality has awarded contracts for the second phase of the Al Mamzar Beach Development Project.

The project, with a total cost of AED400 million, is set to transform Al Mamzar Corniche Beach into a world-class tourism destination. Completion of both phases is expected by the end of 2025.

Spanning 125,000 square meters, the development will feature integrated beaches, cutting-edge recreational, sports, and commercial facilities, and a dedicated public beach for women. The ladies' beach, prioritizing privacy and safety, will include amenities such as a sports club, children’s play areas, and night swimming facilities.

An innovative design will connect Al Mamzar Creek Beach and Al Mamzar Park via 1,000 meters of running, walking, and cycling paths. Green spaces, seasonal activity zones, and advanced public facilities will enhance the visitor experience. Smart technologies, including AI-supported surveillance and crowd management systems, will ensure safety and convenience.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, highlighted the project's alignment with Dubai’s economic and tourism goals, emphasizing its commitment to creating sustainable infrastructure.

Phase one, launched in June 2023, is already 45% complete, featuring a 200-meter pedestrian bridge, inclusive recreational zones, and night swimming beaches accessible to all.

The Al Mamzar Beach Development Project underscores Dubai’s ambition to be a leading global destination, offering unparalleled tourism and recreational experiences while boosting economic growth.
