Dubai is preparing to host its largest food and beverage showcase yet as Gulfood 2026 positions the emirate at the centre of a fast-evolving global F&B landscape driven by health, technology, sustainability and AI.
With the sector projected to reach $11.37 trillion by 2030 and the MENA region leading worldwide growth, the upcoming edition aims to meet unprecedented demand for scale and cross-border opportunity.
Set to unfold across both Dubai World Trade Centre and the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai, Gulfood 2026 marks the first time a global sourcing event will operate at full capacity across two mega-venues. The expansion to 240,000 square metres creates the largest trade footprint ever assembled in the industry, featuring more than 8,500 exhibitors, over 1.5 million products and participation from 195 countries.
Organisers say the 31st edition will act as a strategic platform for governments, industry leaders and innovators shaping the future of food systems. Major alliances will include APEDA India, ApexBrasil, Business France, ICEX Spain, Meat & Livestock Australia and NAQUA Saudi Arabia, alongside leading corporations such as Americana, BRF, Maersk, JBS, Fresh Del Monte and Oatly.
The 2026 show introduces new sectors at DWTC, including Seafood and Gulfood Startups, reflecting rising demand in high-growth categories. DEC will host expanded national pavilions, bulk commodity trade, procurement hubs and new verticals such as Gulfood Fresh, Gulfood Grocery Trade and Gulfood Logistics.
Gulfood 2026 will also welcome first-time exhibiting nations including Ghana, Kazakhstan, Luxembourg, Rwanda, Sweden and Uganda. The event will further feature the Gulfood World Economy Summit, convening global executives and policymakers to explore the economic and regulatory frameworks shaping the next era of the food economy.
