Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence (DCAI) has unveiled the “Dubai AI Seal,” an initiative aimed at establishing trust in AI companies and cementing Dubai’s position as a global AI hub.
This milestone aligns with the “Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI” and is driven by the directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation.
The “Dubai AI Seal” is a first-of-its-kind certification designed to create a trusted network of AI service providers. Certified companies will gain a unique serial number and classification, enabling them to showcase their credibility in government projects and promotional campaigns. This seal is essential for companies aspiring to partner in UAE and Dubai government AI initiatives.
Technology companies licensed in Dubai can apply for free, with evaluations based on six criteria, including AI-specialized workforce, project portfolio, and partnerships. The initiative aims to strengthen collaboration between government and private sectors, locally and globally, while driving economic growth and innovation through responsible AI adoption.
Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of Dubai Future Foundation, stated,
“This initiative will create powerful partnerships, foster economic opportunities, and enhance AI’s role in serving society and the economy.”
Launched at AREA2071 in Emirates Towers, the DCAI supports government adoption of advanced AI technologies, legislative development, global solution attraction, and local talent empowerment, while enhancing the quality of life for Dubai residents.
