Dubai Chamber of Commerce has launched the Dubai Delivery Business Group to strengthen the delivery sector’s growth and unify the voice of companies operating in this rapidly expanding industry.
The move is part of the chamber’s broader strategy to boost private sector representation across key industries. With the addition of the new group, the chamber now oversees 106 Business Groups, each contributing to building a resilient, future-ready economy in the emirate.
The Dubai Delivery Business Group will collaborate with government bodies and private stakeholders to address industry challenges, identify opportunities, and propose enhancements to regulatory frameworks. Its focus areas include policy development, smart technology adoption, sustainable practices, and workforce wellbeing.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, noted the sector’s rapid expansion, driven by digital transformation, population growth, and rising demand across product categories. She emphasised the group’s role in ensuring sustainable development and competitiveness.
The group also aims to promote global best practices, fair competition, and knowledge-sharing, while encouraging the use of electric vehicles and AI-powered solutions in last-mile delivery.
Business Groups under Dubai Chamber play a key role in fostering dialogue between the public and private sectors, ultimately strengthening Dubai’s economic landscape.
