Dubai Chamber of Commerce has backed the expansion of Dubai-based AfroVision Technologies into Ghana, marking a strategic move to strengthen ties between the UAE and West Africa in the digital and tech sectors.

The expansion was enabled through support from the Dubai International Chamber’s representative office in Ghana, which connected AfroVision Technologies with On-Point Virtual Assistants, a local business process outsourcing company. This collaboration led to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two firms.

Under the agreement, On-Point will represent the Doballi platform—owned by a Dubai-registered subsidiary of AfroVision Technologies—in Ghana. The platform connects African tech talent with global remote work opportunities.

As part of the initiative, On-Point will train IT students in Ghana, preparing them for remote roles. Graduates will be onboarded to the Doballi platform, creating a direct path from training to employment in the tech industry.

Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the chamber’s ongoing mission to support Dubai-based companies in expanding globally and forming sustainable partnerships that boost the competitiveness of the emirate’s private sector.

Doballi founder Osita Oparaugo expressed gratitude to the Dubai International Chamber’s Ghana office for its support. He highlighted the MoU as a key step in Doballi’s mission to tap into the region’s tech talent and connect them with international job markets, aligning with the company’s broader global outreach goals.

The move underscores Dubai’s growing role in fostering cross-border business growth and digital workforce development across emerging markets.
