Dubai Chamber of Commerce has supported the regional expansion of Italian solar equipment manufacturer PEIMAR into Georgia and Armenia, marking another milestone in the emirate’s drive to strengthen its global business footprint.

During a recent trade mission organized by the chamber, PEIMAR secured a supply agreement to provide photovoltaic modules for a major solar project in Tbilisi, with the first shipment already dispatched. The company also signed a cooperation deal with an Armenian solar firm to explore further market opportunities.

Salem Alshamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, said the chamber remains committed to helping Dubai-based companies grow internationally through strategic partnerships and initiatives that open new markets.

Dmitrii Berezkin, Branch Director of PEIMAR Middle East, highlighted that the company’s Dubai office acts as a distribution hub for the wider region. He credited the trade mission for facilitating vital connections and establishing a foundation for PEIMAR’s entry into the Georgian and Armenian markets.

The mission was part of Dubai Chamber’s ‘New Horizons’ initiative, designed to help businesses from the emirate access emerging markets and expand their global presence. PEIMAR, headquartered in Dubai, manufactures solar energy equipment including photovoltaic modules, inverters, batteries, and electric vehicle chargers.
