The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, in collaboration with Dubai World Trade Centre, has launched a global promotional campaign for Expand North Star 2025, the world’s largest event for startups and investors.
Scheduled to take place at Dubai Harbour from 12th to 15th October, the event aims to attract global tech innovators, venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs looking to expand their footprint in Dubai’s thriving digital economy.
First Stop: United States
The campaign’s first phase kicked off in the U.S., covering Las Vegas, Phoenix, and San Francisco, where over 200 startup representatives, investors, and tech leaders gathered to explore opportunities in Dubai.
Key highlights of the U.S. campaign:
- Startup Pitch Competition: DataBiologics and Nanowear won, securing fully funded participation at Expand North Star 2025.
- 13 High-Level Meetings: Key discussions with venture capital firms, unicorn companies, and business ecosystem partners to strengthen ties between Dubai and the U.S. in the digital economy sector.
A Platform for Global Innovation
The campaign will expand to other regions, positioning Dubai as a premier global hub for startups and investment. The 2024 edition of Expand North Star saw record-breaking participation:
- 1,800+ startups and 1,200+ investors from 100 countries, managing assets exceeding $1 trillion.
- 65 unicorn companies with a combined market value of over $400 billion.
Dubai continues to solidify its position as a global leader in digital transformation, offering startups and investors unparalleled access to new markets, funding, and networking opportunities.
