Dubai Chamber Launches Hungarian Business Council to Boost Trade and Investment
Dubai Chamber of Commerce, under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has officially launched the Hungarian Business Council to strengthen business ties and foster greater cooperation between Dubai and Hungary.
This new initiative aims to enhance trade and investment opportunities across various sectors, reflecting Dubai's increasing appeal to the Hungarian business community.
At the end of 2024, the number of Hungarian companies registered with Dubai Chamber of Commerce surged to 201, marking an impressive 48% annual growth. The establishment of the council underscores the growing presence of Hungarian businesses in the emirate.
The inaugural meeting of the Hungarian Business Council took place today at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, where key discussions centered on collaboration strategies, organizing bilateral business events, and uncovering emerging market opportunities. The council also aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise and valuable insights to further strengthen economic ties.
Maha Al Gergawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, emphasized the importance of business councils in enhancing connections between companies and investors.
"We remain committed to supporting these councils to expand trade relations and contribute to Dubai's economic growth across all sectors,"
she said.
The Hungarian Business Council joins a network of similar councils under Dubai Chamber, all of which focus on bolstering trade and investment between Dubai-based companies and businesses from their respective countries, fostering strategic economic partnerships that benefit both markets.
