Dubai Chamber of Commerce has unveiled its new initiative, Sustainability 365, aiming to embed responsible business practices across the private sector throughout the year.
Running from 6 to 30 October, the month-long programme builds on the chamber’s decade-long Sustainability Week and signals a stronger commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
Rebranded under the theme “Purpose in Action: Empowering Communities Through Responsible Business,” Sustainability 365 highlights the private sector’s role in advancing sustainable development and creating lasting social impact. The initiative features a diverse lineup of events, including training sessions, expert-led forums, and interactive simulations, equipping companies with practical tools to integrate sustainability into their strategies.
The programme kicks off with The Purpose Forum, bringing together CEOs and senior leaders to explore the social impact of purpose-driven business. It will be followed by the Business with Purpose Roundtable, offering interactive discussions on challenges and opportunities for responsible companies. The Global Sustainability and CSR Forum 2025 and the month-long Purpose Academy will provide additional insights on emerging trends, best practices, and sustainability-driven innovation.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said the initiative marks “a pivotal moment” in the chamber’s efforts to integrate social responsibility into Dubai’s business ecosystem. She emphasized that Sustainability 365 is more than an extended programme; it reflects the chamber’s belief that responsible business is a driver of positive change in communities.
Since its launch in 2015, Sustainability Week has engaged over 720 companies, addressing themes from health and diversity to stakeholder engagement and artificial intelligence. Sustainability 365 aims to expand this impact, providing platforms, tools, and knowledge resources for companies to embed ESG principles, enhance competitiveness, and strengthen social and environmental outcomes.
