Dubai Chamber of Commerce has announced the launch of the Holiday Homes Business Group, a new initiative aimed at strengthening representation and supporting the continued growth of Dubai’s expanding holiday homes sector.
The group brings together companies specialising in holiday home management to create a unified platform that advocates for sector-wide interests. It will act as a formal channel between government entities and private sector stakeholders, enabling structured dialogue on market trends, regulatory challenges, and future opportunities.
The move comes as Dubai’s holiday homes market continues to gain momentum. Membership data from Dubai Chamber of Commerce shows that 2,928 companies are now registered in the sector, reflecting rising demand driven by strong tourism performance and a steady increase in international visitors to the emirate.
Maha Al Gargawi, Vice President of Business Advocacy at Dubai Chambers, said the new group is designed to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the sector. She noted that it will support cooperation among stakeholders, promote best practices, and contribute to shaping a supportive legislative and regulatory environment.
Beyond advocacy, the Holiday Homes Business Group will focus on elevating professional standards across the industry. This includes sharing recommendations to strengthen regulatory policies, improving awareness of legal frameworks, and encouraging innovation within the sector.
The initiative forms part of Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s broader strategy to activate Business Groups as a key link between the business community and policymakers. These groups play an important role in addressing sector-specific challenges, facilitating collaboration, and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a competitive global tourism and business destination.
