Dubai Chamber of Commerce, operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, marked a successful 2024, achieving remarkable milestones across membership, exports, and sustainability initiatives.

By year-end, active members reached 258,318, reflecting an 18% annual growth, with 70,500 new companies joining—a 3% increase compared to 2023.

The chamber’s exports and re-exports exceeded AED 300 billion for the first time, totaling AED 309.6 billion, an annual growth of 9.2%. Additionally, 791,115 Certificates of Origin were issued, reflecting an 8% increase, while 5,357 ATA Carnets valued at AED 4.3 billion were processed.

Chairman Abdul Aziz Abdulla Al Ghurair highlighted Dubai’s business-friendly environment, stating,

“Guided by the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai is cementing its position as a global business hub, driving growth and fostering opportunities.”

Collaboration with Business Groups led to reviews of 107 laws, with 58% of recommendations adopted. Nine new Business Councils were also established, representing investors from diverse countries, including South Korea, Vietnam, and Poland.

The chamber resolved 171 mediation cases, up 21.3% from 2023, with an 88% success rate. Legal workshops benefited 2,698 private sector representatives, enhancing compliance and best practices.

The Dubai Centre for Family Businesses conducted governance programs, with 316 participants attending training sessions and workshops. The chamber also introduced an ESG label, recognizing 27 companies for sustainability efforts and held its Sustainability Week, engaging 526 participants to explore the role of AI and digitalization in sustainable business.

These achievements reinforce Dubai Chamber of Commerce's pivotal role in fostering economic growth and sustainable development in the region.
