Indian-owned businesses once again emerged as the largest group of new foreign companies joining Dubai Chambers’ Dubai Chamber of Commerce in 2025, underscoring Dubai’s sustained appeal as a global hub for investment and entrepreneurship.

A new analysis by the chamber shows that 18,486 new Indian-owned companies became members during the year, reflecting year-over-year growth of 11%. The figures highlight the strong economic ties between India and Dubai, as well as the emirate’s continued attractiveness to international investors seeking access to regional and global markets.

Pakistan ranked second with 9,138 new companies registered, marking a 12% increase compared to 2024. Egypt followed in third place with 5,043 new members. The United Kingdom secured fourth position with 2,733 new companies, while Bangladesh placed fifth with 2,721 new registrations and the highest growth rate among the top five at 15%.

Other notable contributors included Syria with 1,907 new companies, China with 1,583, Jordan with 1,325, Türkiye with 1,308, and the United States with 1,054, rounding out the top ten nationalities represented.

Overall, 71,830 new companies joined the chamber in 2025, lifting active membership to 292,486 by year-end, up from 258,318 in 2024. This represents annual growth of 13.2%, reflecting robust momentum in Dubai’s business landscape.

From a sector perspective, Real Estate, Renting, and Business Services led new member activity, accounting for 37.6%. Wholesale and Retail Trade followed with 34.5%, while Construction ranked third at 17.2%. Social and Personal Services captured 7.9%, and Transport, Storage, and Communications accounted for 7.2%.

The results reinforce Dubai’s position as a diversified, investor-friendly economy that continues to attract businesses across industries and geographies.
