The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy is set to showcase the vibrant and competitive digital business ecosystem of Dubai at Expand North Star 2024, the world's largest gathering for startups and investors, taking place from October 13 to 16 at Dubai Harbour.
Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the chamber, the event aims to highlight the competitive advantages of Dubai's digital ecosystem and its pivotal role in driving business growth. The chamber will present the emirate’s robust facilities and infrastructure designed to support digital startups and facilitate their expansion into local and global markets.
A key feature of the chamber's pavilion will be ‘Launchpad Dubai,’ an integrated platform offering business services in collaboration with five partners, including the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), Emirates NBD, BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates, Antler, and Silkhaus. This platform will enable investors and entrepreneurs to connect with service providers who can aid in establishing and growing businesses in Dubai.
Among the chamber’s initiatives is the 'Create Apps in Dubai' program, which aims to train over 1,000 Emiratis in coding and mobile application development by 2025. This initiative also seeks to triple the number of app developers in the region and support 100 national projects for cutting-edge mobile applications.
Furthermore, the chamber will promote the ‘Business in Dubai’ platform, providing essential services and matchmaking opportunities for companies looking to launch or expand in the emirate.
Through its participation, the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy reaffirms its commitment to enhancing Dubai's status as a global hub for technology and innovation, aligning with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33).
