Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy has wrapped up its participation at GITEX AI Europe 2026 in Berlin, using the platform to pitch the emirate as a premier destination for digital businesses to nearly 300 European startups and scaleups.
The chamber, one of three operating under Dubai Chambers, engaged 287 European startups and scaleups at its pavilion during the event. It also held meetings with 20 partners from across the global digital economy, including accelerators and venture capital firms, to explore opportunities in key tech sectors.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, said Dubai continues building an advanced business ecosystem that supports tech growth and draws investment and talent. He added that the chamber remains focused on strengthening the emirate's appeal to global companies and cementing its role as a hub for future-focused solutions.
The pavilion also featured a dedicated area for Launchpad Dubai, a platform created with Dubai Silicon Oasis that acts as a single gateway for business setup services, offering integrated support to investors and entrepreneurs entering the Dubai market.
Several Dubai-based startups and scaleups joined the chamber at its pavilion to showcase the opportunities available in the emirate's digital economy. Among them was XPANCEO, maker of the world's first multi-functional smart contact lenses, which has reached unicorn status while operating out of Dubai.
Other participants included Carbon2Capital, which converts financial transactions into carbon insights, Cognition AI, which builds autonomous AI software engineers, Kerno, an enterprise IT and AI infrastructure firm, and Qashio, a fintech scaleup.
The event reinforced Dubai's growing footprint in Europe's tech and innovation circles.
