Dubai Chambers and DMCC Forge Partnership to Boost Digital Investment Landscape
Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC).
This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive service packages for businesses seeking to establish and expand their operations in Dubai, tapping into the lucrative opportunities within key sectors of the digital economy.
As part of the agreement, DMCC will roll out specialized business setup support packages for firms attracted to the emirate by Dubai Chambers, focusing on industries such as cryptocurrencies, artificial intelligence, and gaming. These companies will also gain access to DMCC’s knowledge series events, alongside complimentary services from its compliance hub and tax clinics.
Khalid Al Jarwan, Vice President of Operations and acting Vice President of Digital and Commercial Sectors at Dubai Chambers, emphasized that the partnership underscores Dubai’s commitment to becoming a global leader in the digital economy.
“This agreement with DMCC aims to attract global investments and foster an advanced digital business ecosystem in the emirate,”
he stated.
Feryal Ahmadi, Chief Operating Officer of DMCC, highlighted that the centre contributes 15% of Dubai’s annual foreign direct investment, playing a pivotal role in drawing international capital, particularly in digital sectors.
“Our partnership with Dubai Chambers will provide dedicated support for global companies at the forefront of Web3, solidifying Dubai as a premier destination for innovation-focused investments,”
she said.
This initiative aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which seeks to double the emirate's economy in the next decade, positioning it among the top three global cities for business growth.
