Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, aiming to enhance bilateral economic and investment ties.
The agreement seeks to strengthen collaboration between the business communities of Dubai and London, fostering mutual growth through joint initiatives and partnerships.
Under the agreement, Dubai Chambers will support London-based companies in expanding their operations within Dubai’s thriving economy. In return, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry will assist Dubai-based businesses and investors in establishing a presence in London, promoting seamless cross-border investments.
The MoU highlights cooperation in organizing trade fairs, investment missions, and conferences, alongside the exchange of trade and economic data. The document was signed by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Karim Fatehi MBE, Chief Executive of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
H.E. Lootah emphasized Dubai’s commitment to fostering international partnerships, stating:
“Through these efforts, we contribute to building bridges of cooperation, supporting economic growth, and creating new opportunities for investors and businesses.”
Karim Fatehi MBE highlighted the significance of the collaboration, describing it as
“a testament to what can be achieved when visionary leaders and communities come together.”
This agreement aligns with Dubai Chambers’ dedication to the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), which aims to double the emirate’s economy over the next decade. By enhancing Dubai’s business environment, attracting international investments, and driving digital economy growth, Dubai Chambers continues to position Dubai as a global hub for trade and commerce.
