Dubai Chambers and the Thai Chamber of Commerce have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral trade and economic relations between the UAE and Thailand.
The agreement focuses on promoting investment opportunities across key sectors, including energy, the digital economy, agriculture, tourism, and hospitality.
The MoU, signed by H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Dr. Visit Limlurcha, Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, outlines a framework for collaboration. The two entities will exchange delegations, organize trade missions, and facilitate knowledge-sharing initiatives. Additionally, they will cooperate in hosting exhibitions and business events in both Dubai and Thailand, creating platforms to foster connections and enhance commercial opportunities.
A key component of the agreement is establishing mechanisms for arbitration to resolve disputes between businesses from both countries. This focus on streamlined dispute resolution aims to create a supportive environment for cross-border partnerships.
H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah commented on the collaboration:
“We are committed to expanding our international partnerships to enhance Dubai’s trade and investment relations, foster growth opportunities, and solidify Dubai’s status as a global business hub.”
