Dubai Chambers will host the fifth international edition of the Dubai Business Forum in Shenzhen, China, on 14 May 2026, reinforcing efforts to attract Chinese investment and deepen bilateral partnerships in line with Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33.

The Dubai Business Forum China will spotlight the opportunities created by D33 and position Dubai as a strategic gateway for Chinese companies seeking expansion across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. The choice of Shenzhen places the event at the centre of the Greater Bay Area, one of the world’s leading hubs for technological innovation and advanced industries.

Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the return to China underscores the organisation’s commitment to strengthening economic ties and creating tangible growth pathways within the digital economy. He noted that the forum is expected to drive new collaborations and joint ventures that directly support D33’s long-term objectives.

Forum sessions will focus on innovation, trade, the digital economy, and future industries, providing platforms for knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue. The programme will include curated business-matching meetings, sector-specific roundtables, and policy discussions designed to foster sustainable, long-term cooperation.

The forum forms part of Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to expand its global presence and reinforce Dubai’s status as a preferred destination for foreign direct investment. Chinese businesses already play a significant role in the emirate’s economy, with more than 6,190 active Chinese members registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce by the end of the third quarter of 2025.

The previous Dubai Business Forum China, held in Beijing in August 2024, attracted over 800 business leaders and investors, highlighting strong interest in deepening economic engagement between Dubai and China.
