Dubai Chambers, in partnership with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the World Chambers Federation (WCF), has unveiled the Chamber Benchmarking Tool, a digital platform designed to help chambers of commerce worldwide measure their performance against international best practices.

The initiative was launched during the 14th World Chambers Congress held from 2–4 September in Melbourne, where more than 1,200 chamber leaders from over 100 countries gathered to share insights and strengthen international cooperation.

The tool assesses chambers across seven key roles, including economic research, advocacy, international trade, workforce development, networking, advisory services, and dispute resolution. It also evaluates internal operational excellence in areas such as strategy, governance, innovation, and member engagement.

H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, said the initiative reflects Dubai’s commitment to advancing institutional innovation and strengthening the role of chambers as drivers of economic growth. John W.H. Denton AO, Secretary General of the ICC, called the launch a milestone in empowering chambers globally with the insights needed to thrive.

By providing comparative data, tailored recommendations, and access to global case studies, the Chamber Benchmarking Tool aims to enhance service delivery, streamline processes, and support chambers in building stronger, more competitive business communities worldwide.
