Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to bolster trade relations and foster closer economic cooperation between Dubai and the United States.
The agreement, signed at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters, aims to support bilateral trade growth and facilitate business opportunities. Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, and Steve Lutes, Vice President for the Middle East at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, formalized the partnership.
Commenting on the collaboration, Al Shamsi stated,
“Through our partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, we aim to enhance economic and investment partnerships and expand mutual business opportunities between American companies and their counterparts in Dubai.”
Under the MoU, Dubai Chambers will assist U.S. businesses in setting up and investing in Dubai while offering strategic services to accelerate the investment process. Meanwhile, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will support Dubai-based companies in expanding to the U.S., facilitating networking and business-matching initiatives.
The agreement also includes cooperation in trade fairs, investment missions, conferences, and exhibitions in both markets, along with the exchange of trade insights and reports.
Dubai Chambers remains committed to enhancing Dubai’s business landscape, attracting international investments, and driving global expansion for its members while supporting the growth of the emirate’s digital economy.
