Dubai Chambers has reinforced its economic ties with India after hosting a high-level delegation from the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to explore new avenues of cooperation and trade growth.

The meeting, led by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO of Dubai Chambers, and Rajiv Memani, President of CII, brought together representatives from Indian companies spanning multiple sectors. Discussions focused on diversifying trade, boosting cross-border investment, and leveraging Dubai’s role as a strategic hub for Indian businesses expanding into regional and global markets.

Both sides also outlined plans to organise a series of business events in major Indian cities aimed at deepening bilateral relations. The move builds on an MoU signed earlier this year between Dubai Chambers and CII, which set out a framework to strengthen collaboration across priority sectors and accelerate investment flows.

India remains a leading source of new business activity in Dubai. In the first half of 2025, Indian companies accounted for 9,038 new memberships at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, representing a 14.9 percent increase compared to the same period in 2024.

The growing momentum underscores Dubai’s position as a preferred destination for Indian entrepreneurs and investors, supported by strategic services that simplify and fast-track company setup and expansion in the emirate.
