Dubai Chambers has advanced economic partnerships with Ireland during a high-level trade mission to Dublin, exploring new avenues for trade, investment, and innovation between the two markets.
The mission, led by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, included Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, President and CEO, and senior business leaders from Dubai. It formed part of the ‘Growth Corridors’ initiative, aimed at deepening Dubai’s engagement with high-potential global markets.
During the visit, the delegation met senior officials from Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, the Irish Strategic Investment Fund, and the Ireland Foreign Direct Investment Agency. Discussions focused on expanding cooperation across investments, financial services, transport and logistics, venture capital, digital industries, and innovation.
The delegation also toured Ireland’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship hubs, including Dogpatch Labs, Guinness Enterprise Center, and NovaUCD, gaining insights into the country’s thriving start-up ecosystem and exploring synergies with Dubai’s digital and entrepreneurial landscape.
Al Mansoori said,
“Dubai is continuing to consolidate its position as a leading global business hub by building strategic partnerships with major international markets such as Ireland. We remain committed to opening new pathways for trade and investment that support sustainable growth and promising investments.”
The talks highlighted Dubai Chambers’ support for Irish companies seeking to establish a presence in the emirate, including connecting with partners and fostering joint projects. They also emphasised opportunities for Irish entrepreneurs in Dubai’s digital economy and future-facing sectors.
Trade between Dubai and Ireland reached AED4.1 billion in 2024, marking 20 percent year-on-year growth. By mid-2025, 62 new Irish companies joined Dubai Chamber, bringing the total to 460 active Irish member companies.
The mission underscores Dubai’s strategic approach to global economic engagement, providing a platform for bilateral collaboration, sectoral integration, and enhanced access to international markets.
