Dubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Italiacamp, an organisation focused on innovation, social impact, and public–private partnerships, to boost economic cooperation and expand trade relations between Dubai and Italy.
The agreement was formalised at Dubai Chambers’ headquarters by Salem Al Shamsi, Vice President of International Relations, and Leo Cisotta, General Manager of Italiacamp EMEA FZCO. The partnership aims to support bilateral trade growth and joint business initiatives.
Salem Al Shamsi highlighted Dubai Chambers’ commitment to fostering international business collaboration, saying the MoU will “unlock opportunities for expansion among the local business community” and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global business hub. Leo Cisotta described the agreement as a step to “support the international growth of Italian excellence and build long-term partnerships with the UAE,” reflecting Italiacamp’s focus on innovation, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
Under the MoU, Dubai Chambers will provide Italiacamp members with strategic services, guidance on regulatory and market entry requirements, and access to Dubai’s business networks, including family-owned enterprises. Collaborative workshops, student training programmes, and networking opportunities are also planned.
Italiacamp will assist Dubai Chambers members in exploring business opportunities in Italy, offering support throughout pre-expansion and post-expansion stages. The two parties will also jointly organise trade fairs, investment missions, conferences, and exhibitions.
This collaboration is part of Dubai Chambers’ Global Partnerships Programme, which aims to attract foreign investment and support local companies in entering international markets. The initiative aligns with the broader Dubai Global strategy, designed to strengthen Dubai-based businesses’ competitiveness and expand their global reach.
