Dubai Chambers has stepped up efforts to reinforce bilateral trade with Oman, as a high-level delegation led by Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah visited Sohar to deepen economic cooperation and enhance supply chain resilience between the two markets.

During the visit to Oman’s Al Batinah North Governorate, the delegation met with the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in North Al Batinah to explore opportunities for closer collaboration. Discussions focused on unlocking high-value prospects across priority sectors while supporting the sustained growth of bilateral trade.

The delegation also toured key industrial and logistics hubs, including SOHAR Port and Freezone and Sohar Industrial City Madayn. Talks centred on improving the flow of goods, strengthening supply chain resilience, and enhancing logistics integration between Dubai and Sohar to support shared development objectives.

Lootah reaffirmed Dubai Chambers’ commitment to advancing strategic partnerships and facilitating seamless trade flows. He noted that stronger logistics connectivity and coordinated efforts between both sides are critical to opening new avenues for economic cooperation and reinforcing bilateral ties.

The visit aligns with Dubai Chambers’ broader strategy to expand trade relations with key global markets. By fostering deeper engagement between business communities and enhancing sectoral integration, the initiative aims to strengthen economic resilience and position both markets to better navigate evolving global trade dynamics.
