The agreement reflects a shared commitment to developing joint working mechanisms and strengthening strategic partnerships that support the sector’s long-term growth and global competitiveness.

The MoU was signed by Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and Mohammed Abdullah Al-Salami, Chairman of the Fujairah Civil Aviation Authority.

Under the agreement, both parties will establish a reference framework for cooperation that includes the exchange of information, data, and expertise, the formation of joint working teams, and the organization of regular coordination meetings to monitor implementation and address challenges. The collaboration is designed to promote institutional integration while aligning with the strategic objectives of both entities.

Lengawi said the MoU represents an important step toward enhancing coordination among civil aviation authorities in the UAE and advancing innovation, safety, and efficiency. He emphasized the value of unified efforts and knowledge-sharing in supporting the development of aviation services in line with national aspirations.

Al-Salami noted that the agreement reflects the UAE’s broader vision to strengthen its leadership in the civil aviation sector. He added that the partnership will help improve operational performance, ensure compliance with international standards, and support the sector’s role in driving sustainable economic growth.
