Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has announced the launch of the Aviation Safety Transformation Summit 2025, set to take place from October 22 to 23 in Dubai.
The inaugural event will gather top aviation executives, regulators, airline representatives, and technology innovators to shape the future of global aviation safety.
The summit aims to drive dialogue on strengthening safety frameworks, enhancing risk management, and preparing the sector for rapid technological and operational change. It will feature certified training sessions, keynote speeches, interactive workshops, and the unveiling of new aviation safety initiatives.
“Safety standards in the aviation sector are fundamental pillars of its sustainable growth,”
said Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director-General of the DCAA. He noted that the summit will highlight global trends and challenges while fostering policies that align with Dubai’s long-term aviation vision.
The event comes at a pivotal time for the industry, as global passenger traffic is projected to exceed 10 billion by 2025. Dubai International Airport reflects this momentum, having welcomed more than 46 million passengers in the first half of the year.
Discussions will cover key themes such as strategic safety governance, digital safety, risk intelligence management, and operational resilience. Leading experts from across the aviation spectrum will share insights on shaping a safer and more adaptable global air transport system.
The summit reinforces Dubai’s position as a global aviation hub and supports its wider vision to advance air transport infrastructure, including the ongoing expansion of Al Maktoum International Airport, which is expected to become the world’s largest airport with an annual capacity of 260 million passengers by 2050.
