Notably, the number of registered drone pilots surged by 76%, while registered drone firms increased by 53%. Additionally, monthly drone operations experienced a remarkable rise of 75%.
This growth highlights the vital role technology plays in enhancing air transport and logistics services, reinforcing confidence in Dubai's robust regulatory framework and state-of-the-art infrastructure. It has also attracted greater interest from investors and commercial entities in the expanding drone sector, which is making significant strides across various industries.
His Excellency Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of the DCAA, remarked,
"This remarkable growth underscores the efforts made to develop the drone ecosystem in Dubai and demonstrates our commitment to driving innovation that propels the future of air transport. We strive to establish Dubai as a global destination for innovation by launching high-quality initiatives that uphold safety standards and operational efficiency."
