The Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) has launched a new corporate identity that blends its historical legacy with forward-looking ambition, marking a strategic move aligned with Dubai’s vision to lead in global civil aviation.
Announced by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the DCAA, the rebrand is part of a broader initiative to modernise the authority’s image and strengthen its global presence. “Returning to the Beginnings with New Horizons,” the slogan accompanying the new identity, underscores a renewed commitment to both innovation and heritage.
The revamped visual identity draws inspiration from the 1970s, echoing the original nameplate of the Civil Aviation Department. It features a custom traditional script and a cohesive system of colours, patterns, and typefaces designed for use across digital and print platforms. The redesign aims to unify DCAA’s communication style while reflecting the organisation’s evolving role in a vital economic sector.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdulla Lengawi, Director General of DCAA, highlighted that the new identity supports a broader vision of institutional excellence and sustainable innovation.
“It reflects our drive to honour our roots while building a modern, agile authority ready for the future of aviation,”
he said.
The launch of the new identity comes as Dubai continues to cement its status as a global aviation hub. With this transformation, DCAA seeks to reinforce its institutional presence and project a consistent image across all platforms, positioning itself as a pioneering government entity in line with Dubai’s strategic ambitions.
The rebranding serves not only as a visual refresh but as a symbol of DCAA’s long-term commitment to excellence, innovation, and leadership in the international aviation arena.
