Dubai Civil Defense and PCFC Sign MoU to Enhance Safety Protocols

The General Directorate of Dubai Civil Defense and the Ports, Customs, and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance safety norms and protocols in Dubai.

The agreement, signed by Major General Jamal bin Aded Al Muhairi, Assistant Director-General for Resources and Support Services, and Nasser Al Neyadi, CEO of PCFC, aims to strengthen cooperation, exchange expertise, and integrate efforts between government entities.

The MoU is designed to bolster the roles of both organizations in developing strategic partnerships, and ensuring advanced safety, protection, and prevention measures throughout the city. This initiative is part of broader efforts to safeguard lives and property, improve fire prevention and response, and enhance the overall safety and security of Dubai's residents. It aligns with Dubai's strategic goal of becoming one of the world's safest cities.

Major General Al Muhairi highlighted the importance of the agreement in establishing productive collaborations with strategic partners in Dubai, emphasizing that it is a critical step towards enhancing the quality of life and providing state-of-the-art safety solutions. Al Neyadi noted that the MoU is crucial for achieving the highest safety standards in the special development zones and ports managed by PCFC, reinforcing Dubai's reputation as a safe global city.

Both officials expressed confidence that the collaboration will lead to the development of innovative safety solutions, leveraging best practices and the latest technologies to create a safer and more sustainable future for Dubai.
