Dubai CommerCity (DCC) has announced a strategic partnership with Ziina, the UAE’s leading financial services provider, to streamline financial services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Dubai.

The move aims to simplify business setup and operations within the emirate’s first free zone dedicated to digital commerce.

The agreement will offer SMEs access to fast, secure, and frictionless payment solutions through an integrated ecosystem that merges business registration and financial management. DCC, a joint venture between the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) and Wasl Properties, says the partnership strengthens its commitment to digital innovation and ease of doing business.

This collaboration builds on DIEZ’s investment in Ziina through its venture arm, Oraseya Capital, aligning with Dubai’s broader D33 economic agenda to position the city as a global hub for entrepreneurship and digital trade.

The agreement was signed by Amna Lootah, Board Member of Dubai CommerCity, and Faisal Toukan, Co-founder and CEO of Ziina, in the presence of senior officials.

As part of the partnership, DCC will promote Ziina’s smart payment tools to its clients, offering fee exemptions and seamless onboarding. In turn, Ziina will feature DCC’s services through its app, allowing entrepreneurs to register their businesses with ease.

Future initiatives include launching a co-branded bank card and multi-currency virtual IBAN accounts, alongside tools like instant transfers, QR code payments, and Tap to Pay — all tailored to help SMEs manage finances efficiently and scale faster.
