Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ), Dubai CommerCity will host the WORLDEF Dubai 2024 forum from December 4-5, 2024.
This event, dedicated to advancing digital commerce, is a collaboration between Dubai CommerCity and WORLDEF, a global platform promoting cross-border e-commerce.
Bringing together over 5,000 participants from 40 countries, the forum will explore innovations and trends shaping the future of the digital economy. It aims to align with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which targets doubling the emirate’s economy by 2033 and positioning Dubai as a global hub for digital commerce and trade.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, highlighted the strategic importance of the forum, stating,
“Hosting this event reflects Dubai’s commitment to fostering a robust digital commerce ecosystem that enhances the non-oil economy.”
With the UAE’s e-commerce market projected to reach AED70 billion by 2029, he emphasized the forum’s role in showcasing Dubai’s achievements.
Omar Nart, CEO of WORLDEF, remarked,
“Dubai’s leadership in the digital commerce sector makes it the ideal host for this strategic event.”
The agenda includes keynote speeches, panels, and discussions on AI, sustainable logistics, ethical trade, and investment opportunities. With global e-commerce sales projected to exceed $8 trillion by 2027, the forum offers a platform for industry leaders to discuss innovations and strategies driving growth in the digital economy.
