Dubai CommerCity Unveils Agenda for WORLDEF Dubai 2024 Forum
Dubai CommerCity, the region's first free zone dedicated to digital commerce, has announced the agenda and speakers for the highly anticipated WORLDEF Dubai 2024 forum, set to take place on 4-5 December under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ).
The forum will open with a speech by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade, followed by a keynote address from Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ. The event is expected to host over 5,000 attendees from 40 countries, featuring prominent leaders like Murodali Alimardon, Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, and representatives from companies such as Meta, Amazon, Alibaba, and Microsoft.
With a focus on Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, the event will explore innovations in digital commerce, logistics, AI, and sustainability. Faraz Khalid, CEO of Noon, will discuss quick commerce strategies, while Hadi Badri, CEO of Dubai Economic Development Corporation, will highlight Dubai’s role as a global e-commerce hub.
Sustainability will also take center stage, with a panel featuring Manosij Ganguli of Aramex and Tobias Schoenberg of Roland Berger, discussing green transportation and waste reduction.
Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni emphasized Dubai’s commitment to advancing digital commerce, stating,
"Dubai has cemented its position as a global hub for innovation and e-commerce."
Organized by WORLDEF, the forum promises strategic insights through panel discussions, case studies, and training sessions, empowering businesses to embrace growth opportunities in the evolving digital economy.
