Dubai Culture Announces Exciting Winter Camps for Children Across Cultural Sites

Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) is set to host its highly anticipated winter camps this December, offering children aged 4 to 14 immersive cultural and artistic experiences across the emirate's iconic heritage sites.

Organized in two sessions—December 16-20 and December 23-27—the camps aim to nurture young talents, encourage creativity, and broaden horizons.

The Al Shindagha Museum Winter Camp invites children to delve into Dubai’s archaeological treasures through interactive workshops led by experts. Activities include excavation techniques, artefact preservation, and field trips to the Jumeirah Archaeological Site.

At the Etihad Museum Winter Camp, themed ‘Young Leaders: Shaping Tomorrow,’ participants will explore the UAE’s heritage through leadership and teamwork challenges, focusing on traditional architecture, green initiatives, and space exploration.

The Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood Winter Camp offers a unique mix of cultural and creative activities under the theme ‘Journey of the Pioneers in Al Fahidi.’ Highlights include star mapping, building traditional boats, and designing futuristic cities inspired by Dubai's history.

Meanwhile, the Al Jalila Cultural Centre for Children Winter Camp, themed ‘Al Jalila’s Winter Wonders,’ features hands-on workshops in pottery, theatre, and painting to spark creativity.

The Dubai Public Library Winter Camp, themed ‘Little Explorers,’ blends art and science, with activities like pottery decoration, marine-inspired sculptures, and virtual reality adventures.

Adding to the festivities, the Second-Hand Book Fair will be held at Al Mankhool Public Library from December 16-27, offering affordable books starting at AED 2 to promote sustainability and literacy.

These camps reflect Dubai Culture’s commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and learning, making this winter unforgettable for young minds.
