Dubai Culture Becomes First Global Cultural Institution to Achieve Four ISO Certifications
Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) announced that it has earned multiple accreditations in four new International Organisation for Standardization (ISO) standards.
Dubai Culture earned ISO certifications in Business Continuity (22301), Risk Management (31000), Collaborative Business Relationships (44001), and Governance Management (37000), becoming the first cultural institution globally to do so. This achievement, following audits by LRQA, highlights its commitment to international standards and leadership in the arts sector.
Hala Badri, Director-General of Dubai Culture emphasized Dubai Culture's competitiveness and sustainable excellence, highlighting new certifications as milestones in enhancing quality systems, corporate governance, and crisis management. She affirmed the Authority's commitment to international best practices and enriching the local cultural and artistic scene.
Rashed Aref Al Shaikh, Director of the Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department at Dubai Culture emphasized that the certifications reflect efforts to boost organizational performance, empower staff, and encourage innovation, improving service quality, standardizing administration, and aligning with strategic goals to sustain positive outcomes.
