Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, in partnership with Zayed University, will host the International Symposium on Electronic/Emerging Art (ISEA) 2026, a global platform that unites art, science, and technology.
Scheduled to run from 10 to 19 April 2026, the event will be held across Dubai under the theme ELYAH: Constellating Place, Data and Identity.
Aligned with Dubai’s Digital Arts Strategy, the initiative aims to empower creative talent, strengthen digital infrastructure, and advance education in the field of digital art. It also reinforces Zayed University’s mission to promote creative and interdisciplinary research that connects innovation with cultural growth.
ISEA2026 is expected to attract more than 500 international participants, including artists, researchers, and industry specialists. The symposium will feature four key thematic pillars — Charting Constellations, Celestial Dialogues, Eco–Tech Futures, and Starlinked Worlds — guiding a series of discussions, exhibitions, and workshops.
In addition to academic sessions, a public programme will offer talks, networking opportunities, and creative showcases across Dubai’s cultural venues, inviting the wider community to engage with digital creativity.
Dubai Culture has opened submissions for artists, storytellers, and researchers to present works in various formats, including animation, new media, performance, photography, film, and installations. Academic papers and conference proposals exploring the intersection of art, science, and technology are also encouraged.
Entries must align with the symposium’s theme and comply with UAE regulations and ISEA copyright standards. Submissions are open until 24 November 2025 through the ISEA International website.
