Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture) has unveiled the 29th edition of ArtMap, in collaboration with thejamjar.

The guide serves as a comprehensive resource for art galleries, exhibitions, festivals, and cultural programmes across the UAE, reflecting Dubai’s commitment to supporting creatives and reinforcing its position as a global cultural hub.

This latest edition highlights the city's evolving art scene, showcasing over 40 galleries and prominent museums, including the Al Shindagha Museum and Etihad Museum. Dubai's vibrant calendar of festivals—such as the Al Marmoom Film in the Desert Festival, the Sikka Art and Design Festival, and Art Dubai—continues to support emerging talents while celebrating the creative economy.

ArtMap also emphasizes the growing importance of Al Quoz Creative Zone, a thriving space for artists to collaborate and innovate. The guide also features initiatives from Dubai Culture, like the School of Life project and the Reading Box programme, alongside public art strategies designed to make the city an accessible art gallery for all.

In addition to profiling key events in Dubai, ArtMap also delves into the cultural scenes of Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, spotlighting the upcoming Sharjah Biennial and influential institutions like the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

The edition celebrates emerging talents, such as Latifa Saeed and Simrin Mehra-Agarwal, and features the work of prominent local artists like Sheikh Maktoum bin Marwan Al Maktoum, whose cover design combines traditional and contemporary influences.

Dr. Saeed Mubarak bin Kharbash, CEO of Dubai Culture, emphasized ArtMap as a testament to Dubai’s dynamic and diverse creative ecosystem, while Hetal Pawani, Director of thejamjar, highlighted the guide’s role in supporting young and emerging artists.
