Dubai Culture and Arts Authority has announced the launch of Dubai Art Season 2026, a three-month programme set to run from 21 January to 26 April, bringing together major cultural, artistic, and entertainment events across the emirate.

Held under the theme Take a walk on the art side, the season reflects Dubai Culture’s commitment to strengthening the local arts ecosystem, expanding public access to culture, and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for the creative economy.

The season will open alongside the 18th Emirates Airline Festival of Literature from 21 to 27 January at InterContinental Dubai Festival City. Ranked among the world’s top ten literary festivals, the event will host international writers and thinkers through talks, performances, and interactive sessions. Dubai Culture will sponsor the BilEmirati and Translation strands, highlighting Emirati literary voices and cross-cultural exchange.

Artistic celebrations continue with the Al Quoz Arts Fest at Alserkal Avenue on 24 and 25 January, followed by the Sikka Art and Design Festival from 23 January to 1 February at Al Shindagha Historic Neighbourhood. Sikka will showcase works by Emirati, UAE-based, and GCC artists alongside performances, workshops, and discussions.

The programme also includes Art Dubai at Madinat Jumeirah from 18 to 20 April, featuring over 100 galleries from 35 countries, and World Art Dubai at Dubai World Trade Centre from 22 to 26 April, offering accessible artworks for collectors and enthusiasts.

Additional highlights include performances at Dubai Opera, major exhibitions at Etihad Museum and Dubai Mall, and year-round creative programming across key cultural venues, reinforcing Dubai’s ambition to be a global centre for culture and creativity.
