Dubai Culture and Arts Authority is set to launch the fifth edition of Hatta Cultural Nights, building on its recent recognition as Best Community Event 2024–2025 at the Middle East Event Awards and reinforcing Hatta’s growing profile as a cultural and heritage destination.
Taking place at Hatta Heritage Village from 20 December 2025 to 1 January 2026, the festival forms part of the #HattaWinter campaign led by Brand Dubai. The initiative invites residents and visitors to experience the mountain region’s history, landscape, and living traditions through a curated programme of heritage-focused activities and performances.
This year’s agenda features folkloric performances by Al Harbiya groups, alongside Rababa and Oud sessions that reflect the area’s musical heritage. The programme also includes circus acts, bubble and balloon shows, and interactive workshops such as heritage coffee making, a star observatory experience, and creative studios designed for families and younger audiences.
Sama Dubai TV joins the event as a media partner, presenting a dedicated cinema exhibition showcasing archival broadcasts and classic Emirati television series. The festival will also host a series of heritage-themed competitions aimed at encouraging community participation.
A key highlight is the Crafts Market, which will showcase traditional Emirati handicrafts alongside products from home-grown businesses inspired by local heritage. The market provides a platform for emerging creative talent to share their work and grow their cultural and economic projects.
Hatta Cultural Nights is one of six festivals held under the second edition of #HattaWinter, supporting Dubai Culture’s broader efforts to enhance quality of life, strengthen national identity, and advance Hatta’s long-term development as a cultural tourism hub.
