Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, under the leadership of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has expanded its partnership with LinkedIn to further equip creative professionals in the UAE with skills and opportunities to thrive globally.

Launched in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown, the collaboration has grown into a cornerstone of support for the creative sector, enabling resilience and long-term growth. Over the past five years, it has facilitated 53,500 training courses, 265,000 video views, and more than 16,800 hours of learning.

The initiative has also fueled significant growth in the creative talent ecosystem. Between 2022 and 2025, UAE-based creative professionals registered on LinkedIn increased by 175 percent, well above the global growth rate of 104 percent.

Sheikha Latifa said the success of the programme affirms the boundless potential of Dubai’s creative community, describing them as “dreamers, innovators, and changemakers” who must be given the tools to turn visions into achievements.

Ali Matar, Head of LinkedIn MENA, praised the partnership for making Dubai a hub for creative talent and emphasized the importance of upskilling in a rapidly changing workforce.

Looking ahead, the extended partnership will focus on deepening access to opportunities and connecting creatives directly with the job market, reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global centre for culture and innovation.
