Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) and the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy have partnered with global innovation leader Plug and Play to launch a flagship accelerator programme aimed at scaling post-revenue startups.
The three-month initiative, now open for applications, is designed to embed high-potential ventures directly into Dubai’s corporate innovation ecosystem.
The inaugural cohort will focus on trade and logistics, connectivity and digital solutions, and fintech—sectors central to Dubai’s economic diversification and digital transformation goals under the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33.
Startups selected for the programme will gain direct access to leading corporates including DHL, du and Visa, along with mentorship, investor exposure, training, and market entry support. The initiative also provides corporates with early access to emerging technologies and opportunities to co-create solutions with innovative startups.
Hadi Badri, CEO of the Dubai Economic Development Corporation, called the accelerator “a new chapter in Dubai’s innovation journey,” urging ambitious founders to apply.
Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, emphasized that the programme reflects Dubai’s determination to lead the next wave of economic transformation by connecting entrepreneurs with real commercial opportunities.

“a world-class programme where entrepreneurs gain commercial access, mentorship, and investment opportunities, while corporates benefit from cutting-edge startups that address strategic priorities.”
A cornerstone of the D33 Agenda, the accelerator aims to contribute to Dubai’s target of creating 30 unicorns and transitioning 400 SMEs into large businesses by 2033, further strengthening the city’s position as a global hub for innovation and investment.
