Dubai Design District, in partnership with the Arab Fashion Council, launched Dubai Fashion Week on 1 February, solidifying the emirate’s role as a global fashion destination.
The six-day event brings together top international and regional designers, offering a platform for cultural and creative exchange.
The opening night featured Italian fashion house Alberta Ferretti, presenting its Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection, “Portrait of a Lady,” in Dubai for the first time. The runway show traveled directly from Milan, highlighting the event’s international reach and Dubai’s growing influence in the global fashion scene.
Designer Lorenzo Serafini showcased pieces inspired by the strength of Victorian-era women, reimagined with contemporary touches to convey confidence, ambition, and elegance. The collection blended traditional Italian craftsmanship with modern sensibilities, appealing to a cosmopolitan audience.
Dubai Fashion Week’s lineup includes a mix of established international brands and emerging regional designers, offering attendees a diverse perspective on global fashion trends. The event underscores Dubai Design District’s commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and cross-cultural collaboration in the fashion industry.
With exhibitions, runway shows, and networking opportunities, Dubai Fashion Week aims to reinforce Dubai’s status as a hub for talent and creativity, attracting industry professionals, media, and fashion enthusiasts from across the world.
