Dubai Design Week opened its 11th edition today at Dubai Design District (d3), bringing together over 1,000 designers, architects, and creatives from more than 50 countries.
Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and in partnership with d3, the event reinforces Dubai’s growing reputation as a global hub for creativity and design innovation.
Spanning exhibitions, installations, talks, and live activations, this year’s edition celebrates cross-cultural exchange and diverse design disciplines including architecture, interiors, furniture, product, graphic, and experiential design.
“Dubai Design District is filled with unmatched creative energy, dialogue and ideas this week,”
said Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3. She noted that the event strengthens Dubai’s position in line with the emirate’s “Design Sector Strategy 2033,” highlighting new features such as the inaugural d3 Awards and the fifth d3 Architecture Exhibition in collaboration with RIBA’s Gulf Chapter.
Dubai Design Week Director Natasha Carella said the 2025 edition emphasizes culturally rooted work and global collaboration, focusing on human-centered design as a social connector and cultural force.
The region’s leading contemporary design fair, Downtown Design, has also returned to the d3 Waterfront Terrace, showcasing new collections, innovative products, and design-led solutions. Alongside, the expanded UAE Designer Exhibition continues to champion mentorship and visibility for emerging local designers.
Through its blend of creativity, collaboration, and innovation, Dubai Design Week 2025 reaffirms the city’s role as a platform where global and regional talent converge to shape the future of design.
