Dubai Duty Free posted all-time high October sales of AED805.6 million, marking its eighth record month of 2025 and underscoring the retailer’s continued growth momentum.

The figure surpasses the previous October record of AED692 million set in 2023 and ranks as the third-highest monthly sales in the company’s history.

Sales growth outpaced passenger traffic by at least 10%, rising 19.31% compared with October 2024. Year-to-date sales reached AED6.88 billion, an 8.72% increase over the same period last year, reflecting sustained demand across product categories.

Perfumes led October sales with AED139.9 million, followed by gold at AED97.2 million, boosted by the Diwali season. Liquor contributed AED96.7 million, while confectionery reached its highest-ever monthly sales of AED78 million, driven by the popularity of “Dubai Chocolate.” Tobacco sales also performed strongly at AED74 million.

Luxury fashion boutiques delivered significant growth, up 43.5% year-on-year. Newly opened Louis Vuitton and Cartier stores in Concourse A attracted high-spending travellers, while REKLAIM, the pre-owned luxury concept, recorded AED2.2 million in sales, including a high-value Audemars Piguet watch and Hermes Birkin handbags.

All airport locations reported strong results, with Concourse A up 27.4%, Concourse B 21.5%, Concourse C 21.9%, Concourse D 11.2%, and Terminal 2 13.1%. Arrivals also rose 18.3%. Sales across international markets, including Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, the Far East, and Australasia, grew by over 20%, highlighting Dubai Duty Free’s global appeal.

Managing Director Ramesh Cidambi credited the achievement to the support of Chairman H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum and the dedication of the Dubai Duty Free team. With its 42nd anniversary approaching on December 20th, 2025 is set to be another record-breaking year for the retailer.
