Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park have welcomed more than 38,500 students by the end of the 2024-25 academic year, marking a 15 percent increase from the previous year and reinforcing Dubai’s status as a global hub for higher education.

Together forming TECOM Group’s Education Cluster, the districts attract talent from over 170 countries and offer more than 600 programmes across undergraduate, postgraduate, and vocational disciplines. Their diverse student body reflects the city’s growing appeal to international talent and its commitment to a knowledge-driven economy.

“The diverse skillsets of our student body demonstrate Dubai’s appeal to the world’s brightest talent,”

said Marwan Abdulaziz Janahi, Senior Vice President of Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park. He highlighted the districts’ role in fostering innovation and equipping learners with future-focused skills aligned with Dubai’s Economic Agenda ‘D33’ and Education Strategy ‘E33’.

Leading universities such as Amity University, Heriot-Watt University Dubai, University of Birmingham Dubai, and Middlesex University Dubai, alongside postgraduate-focused institutions like IIMA and the University of Manchester Dubai, provide extensive academic opportunities. Vocational and training institutes, including ACCA Middle East and the International Centre for Culinary Arts, further enhance the districts’ offerings.

Both hubs provide state-of-the-art facilities, from customised campuses and labs to Grade-A offices and community amenities. Annual initiatives like Campus Talks and UNCOVERED foster industry engagement, innovation, and student entrepreneurship. TECOM Group’s support services, including its in5 incubator, streamline business setup and nurture start-ups like Relphacare Technologies, founded by an Amity University student.

By combining global education, industry collaboration, and entrepreneurial support, Dubai International Academic City and Dubai Knowledge Park continue to drive the city’s growth as a centre of academic excellence and innovation.
