Dubai’s education landscape is gaining momentum as the emirate reports significant progress in expanding its school network and enhancing the quality of its learning ecosystem.
A recent visit to the Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej campus highlighted the strategic push to position the city as a leading global hub for education and knowledge.
The review focused on measures designed to strengthen the sector in line with Dubai’s long term ambitions. Classroom tours offered insights into how students are engaging with an evolving curriculum built around academic excellence, national identity, and future ready skills.
Officials emphasised that the emirate continues to prioritise human capital development as a central pillar of its growth model. This approach supports the objectives of the Dubai Social Agenda 33 and the Dubai Education Strategy 2033, both of which aim to elevate education quality and prepare a generation capable of contributing to a knowledge based economy.
The Knowledge Fund Establishment presented an overview of achievements across the Dubai Schools network, which now operates campuses in Nad Al Sheba, Al Khawaneej, and Al Barsha. The model integrates advanced learning technologies, enriched facilities, and a strong values driven framework.
Key indicators reflect the system’s rapid rise. Student enrolment grew from 1,200 in 2021 to 4,515 in 2025, with projections reaching 15,000 by 2033. Investment has followed the same trajectory, rising from AED62 million in 2021 to an expected AED4 billion by 2033.
The initiative continues to attract support from major national institutions that contribute to sponsorship programmes, helping extend high quality education opportunities to diverse segments of the community.
