Dubai Land Department (DLD), in collaboration with the Dubai Club for People of Determination and Dubai Sports Council, has announced a landmark real estate alliance to support the Fazza International Championships for People of Determination 2025. The event, starting on February 1 under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, will feature four major sports tournaments: Athletics, Swimming, Badminton, and Archery. Over 2,100 athletes from more than 70 countries will participate, highlighting Dubai’s commitment to inclusion and sports excellence.
The real estate alliance includes strategic sponsor HRE Real Estate Development, diamond sponsors Ellington Properties, Beyond Properties, Prescott Real Estate, and Azizi Developments, alongside gold sponsor Arista. This collaboration demonstrates the private sector’s vital role in fostering sustainable community development and promoting inclusion for People of Determination.
Speaking at the press conference held at DLD headquarters, His Excellency Marwan Ahmed Bin Ghalita, Director General of DLD, emphasized that collaboration between public and private sectors is a cornerstone for embedding values of empowerment and inclusion. This year’s championships will host four tournaments: the 16th Fazza International Para Athletics Grand Prix with 1,000 athletes, the inaugural Fazza International Swimming Championship with 500 athletes, the 16th Fazza International Para-Badminton Championship featuring 300 athletes, and the ninth Fazza Para Archery World Ranking Tournament with 300 athletes. These events foster a competitive and inclusive environment, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a city supportive of People of Determination.
Speakers at the press conference, including His Excellency Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee, and His Excellency Majid Al Usaimi, Director of the Championships, praised the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed for elevating the event into one of the most significant global championships for People of Determination.
